With the exception of Ben Basso, the 2022 Panthers were largely unchanged from the Dads Army title winning side of 2021. However they found the going much tougher ending last year bottom of the pile.
The winter has seen some big changes behind the scenes with long time sponsor Michael Tomalin joining the backroom team, bringing added investment and long term security to the club.
On the track the Panthers have moved to sign highly rated Australian Ben Cook, handing him is debut in the top flight after twice winning the league & cup with Poole Pirates.
Returning to the East of England Arena from 2022 will Danish U21 rider Ben Basso, a rider named in Nicki Pedersen’s national plans.
Continuing at Rising Star will be Jordan Jenkins, who has a busy year ahead racing in all 3 British Leagues and in the Polish U24 Extraliga. Jenkins rode over half of the Panthers fixtures last year coming in for the injured Jordan Palin, and putting in some impressive displays both at home and away.
