What is the British Speedway Network?

BSN is a streaming platform created for British Speedway.


It contains an online library of video content that can be accessed through the internet.

Who runs BSN and how does British Speedway benefit?

BSN is a product of eXstream Media Ltd. The participating Championship Speedway clubs receive a share of every subscription and individual live-stream purchase made, so they all benefit from BSN. They are all able to continue providing their own live-stream services alongside BSN.

What matches will be available?

BSN will cover over 30 matches from all Championship competitions;

  • League

  • KO Cup

  • Summer Trophy & Summer Trophy Final

  • Championship League Riders Championship

  • Best Pairs

  • Play-offs


These will be available as live-streams or as an on-demand option.

When will fixtures be released?

Fixtures will be released on a monthly basis.


They will be advertised across all BSN social media outlets as well as being released on the platform itself.


All fixtures are subject to change.

Can I watch a match after it's happened?

Yes. All live events will be stored on our platform and available to watch again.

How many times will my team feature?

We plan to film from each Championship venue twice during the regular season, with teams who reach the play-offs featuring more than this. We have scheduled for each team to feature twice away from home too, but it is possible this will change if fixtures are changed by the hosting club.

What happens if a match is cancelled due to poor weather?

All lost matches will be replaced at a later date, so those who subscribe to the Season Pass will not lose out.


If you have purchased an individual match pass, a refund will be given in accordance to our refund policy which can be found in the "Registration for Non-Subscription Services and Individual Match Purchases" section in our Terms & Conditions

Can I watch outside the UK?

Yes. BSN is accessible worldwide and there are no restrictions placed on any particular country.

What can I expect from BSN live-streams?

You can expect the following from all our live-streams:

  • Full commentary and presentation team

How do I buy someone a gift card?

Gift cards are an excellent way to share the enjoyment of British Speedway Network


Steps to purchase a gift card:

  1. Follow the link

  2. Select from the options to set the gift card you wish to purchase. This can be a monthly pass, season pass or a custom set amount that can be redeemed against any subscription

  3. Enter the recipient's details, be sure to check the email address is correct

  4. Add your personal message

  5. Enter your payment details

  6. Click "Buy Gift Card" and your recipient will receive it, along with instructions of how to redeem it.


Subscriptions

Do I need a subscription to purchase matches?

No. You would need to sign up to the Free Pass, however. This will then allow you to make individual match purchases.


Live matches are available at £11.99 and can be watch on-demand afterwards.


On-demand matches are available after the event for £6.99

What is a Free Pass?

To watch any of the content on BSN, you must sign up to at least the free subscription. This will give you access to any of the free content (marked "FREE") as well as allowing individual purchases of matches, whether live or on-demand.


What is a Monthly/Season Pass?

Both monthly and season passes allow unlimited access to the BSN platform (excluding BSN+ content)


This includes every live Championship match with on-demand options, condensed highlights and other exclusive content.

When is my next payment date?

To see when you will be charged for your next billing cycle, sign in to your account on the web dashboard and visit: https://watch.britishspeedway.co.uk/dashboard/billing


At the bottom of the page, you’ll see your active plan and the next payment date. 

How do I reset my password?

Steps to reset your password:

  1. From the login page, select FORGOT PASSWORD beneath the login credentials

  2. Enter your email address linked to your account when prompted

  3. Go to your email provider and open the email sent from British Speedway Network

  4. Follow the link provided

  5. Enter your new password

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you don’t want to continue, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Follow the prompts to cancel on the Billing page, and your subscription will not renew.


Please note that there aren’t refunds for partially unused subscription periods.

When does my subscription end?

Free Pass - If you have only signed up for a Free Pass, this will always be available on BSN.


Monthly Pass - If you have purchased a Monthly Pass, this will automatically renew on your payment date up until the Championship League Play-Off final has been completed.


Season Pass - If you have purchased a Season Pass, this will automatically expire on the 31st October 2022 and will not auto-renew.

Will the Monthly Pass price change?

Yes. Prices will increase during the season with prices being highest in the play-off months.


However, once you sign up your price is locked-in and will not increase unless you cancel your subscription.


Technical

Can I watch on more than one device?

You can access your account on many devices but only one device can watch at any one time.

What do I need for the videos/streams to work?

This service will work on most internet-enabled device. We support mobile phones, desktops, laptops, tablets and most Smart TVs.


We recommend a minimum internet speed of around 5-10mb/s download for the best experience whilst watching our videos/streams. You can test your speed here


We also recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome, although we also support Firefox and Safari browser released within the last five years.  You may experience playback issues when using an out of date browser or any version of Internet Explorer.


To check you are able to enjoy BSN, sign up to the Free Pass and watch one of our free videos to test compatibility before purchasing your subscription.

My video does not playback smoothly, how can I fix this?

Video playback depends on several factors. To improve your playback experience, make sure you have a fast, stable internet connection. We recommend using the most recent version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. You may experience playback issues with outdated devices and browsers.

Can I watch the videos on my TV?

Yes. There are various ways to watch BSN on your TV.


  1. Smart TV - BSN is adaptable to most Smart TV web browsers. Simply head to watch.britishspeedway.co.uk as you would on your laptop or mobile device.

  2. Chromecast or AirPlay - both options are available direct from the video player when compatible with your devices.

  3. HDMI Lead - The easiest option for almost every modern TV available. Simply attach a HDMI lead from your device (laptop, mobile or tablet) to the HDMI port on your TV. These can be purchased from retailers such as Amazon.

Will it work on my Smart TV?

Mostly, yes. Our website is designed to adapt on most Smart TVs browsers.

Can I watch the videos using Chromecast or AirPlay?

Yes!  Both Chromecast and Airplay are compatible with our site. 

 

To use Chromecast: Locate the Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video you want to cast.  Click the icon and select the correct Chromecast from the pop-up in your browser.


To use AirPlay: Open the video on your apple device and click the AirPlay icon in the bottom left corner.

Can I download matches to watch offline?

Content will not be available to download and must be watched on a device connected to the internet
