WORKINGTON boss Andrew Bain believes Antti Vuolas can be their “trump card” in 2025.
The Comets have re-signed their flying Finn for next season at the GT Tyres Arena.
Vuolas, 25, provided several breathtaking rides for the Comets as they reached the Cab Direct Championship play-offs, and promoter Andrew Bain has expressed his relief that he has secured the crowd favourite once more.
Bain said: “I’m sure many of our fans will be chuffed that Antti will be back next season. At one stage it may not have happened, but it did and we are delighted.
“Antti established himself really well last year, but it was also a learning curve for him with every away track a new track to learn and figure out. However, we saw that after a few rides at a new track he starts to figure things out and get going in the end.
“That’s why we feel in 2025 he could almost be our trump card as these tracks won’t be new to him anymore and he can kick on away from home.”
