WORKINGTON boss Andrew Bain believes that Jacob Hook can be the key to their success in 2025.
The Comets have swooped for the Australian to complete their team building for next season.
The 22-year-old joins the Comets after previous spells with Edinburgh, Berwick and Plymouth, and he will team up with fellow new signing Vinnie Foord at reserve.
Promoter Andrew Bain said: “This is great news to finish our team-building for next season.
“Jacob, although still young, has been over in the UK for a number of seasons and has experience of the British tracks and I think this will be one of our keys to success in 2025.
“Also the experience Jacob has, he will be able to pass onto his new reserve partner Vinnie, which is what a young rider like Vinnie needs to progress.”
