BELLE VUE boss Mark Lemon paid particular praise to his ‘growing and developing’ reserves following their big home win over Ipswich on Monday.

The ATPI Aces moved to within two points of the Tru7 Group Witches after a 52-38 triumph at the National Speedway Stadium, live on BSN.

Whilst captain Brady Kurtz again stole the headlines with yet another unbeaten night in Manchester, Lemon was keen mention the contributions of both Jake Mulford (4+2) and Tate Zischke (4+1) who combined for an early 5-1 in Heat Two.

Said Lemon: “There were nine shared heats.

“It felt like we weren’t going to get this one over the line and it would go to the wire.

“But we got stronger and stronger which is credit to all the boys and also the reserves.

“Tate and Jake were really impressive; they are growing and developing.”

Belle Vue are back in action next Monday (July 7, 7.30pm) when they host Birmingham.
