ANDERS ROWE believes King’s Lynn look solid and strong for a more positive 2024.

The young Great Britain star was shining light for the Stars towards the end of last season.

He returns as a Rising Star for this campaign and is convinced that it will be a more successful year at the Adrian Flux Arena.

He told Speedway Star: “King’s Lynn were really struck last year with a horrible injury run and that’s something that can happen to any team.

“They really got hit hard by that but it’s not their fault or the riders’ fault – just one of those things that can’t be helped.

“Then you have recovery time and things like that, so it was just an unfortunate situation all round. Any club could suffer in that way but, unfortunately, in 2023 it was King’s Lynn.

“They made a couple of team changes and we managed to win a meeting towards the end of the year, which nobody expected. And even though it was close to the end, the guys who were there did have a really good team bond and were having fun.

“The team this year looks really good. We’ve got experienced riders like Tobiasz Musielak and also people like (Vadim) Tarasenko and (Benjamin) Basso. It looks good from one to seven.

“Also, Rob Lyon is a brilliant team manager. He’s been around for years and I’m really looking forward to working with him.

“He came to a couple of meetings at the end of last season, just to watch and observe, and even though he wasn’t team manager he helped by giving me little pointers, such as not getting sucked in on the white line and the concrete on the first turn from gate one!”
