REDCAR co-promoter Jamie Swales believes their youngsters can make a big difference against Poole.
The Agilia Bears take on the Pirates in the Cab Direct Championship play-off semi-final, first leg live on BSN at Wimborne Road.
Swales is dreaming of a unique Teesside treble of trophies and reckons that strength in depth could be the key.
He said: “At the start of the season we were touted to have the weakest reserves but I think we have some of the strongest reserves in the league now.
“Our strength in depth is really strong and that is a real bonus for us.”
Nick Morris comes in for Erik Riss while the Pirates are at full strength.
He added: “Poole are a big threat, however, everyone of our riders have proven they can beat any of their riders this season. We can’t get hung up on their reputation, we just have to step it up for the playoffs now.
“It’s our best ever season by finishing third, we are closer to the top this season than the other year we finished third. “Also, it must be the first time we have reached three semi-finals and we have already won the Pairs so it’s our best ever season but I would be disappointed if we didn’t make some finals.”
Poole: Richard Lawson, Tobias Thomsen, Lewis Kerr, Zach Cook, Anders Rowe, Paul Starke, William Cairns.
Redcar: Charles Wright, Jake Mulford, Jason Edwards, Nick Morris, Danny King, Jody Scott, Ace Pijper.
