LEICESTER star Sam Masters wants revenge over Sheffield for a “flogging” earlier in the season.

The Lions race their first home match in over a month when defending champions Tigers visit the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena tonight, live on BSN.

The Tigers took an away win from Beaumont Park earlier in the season but recently suffered the major setback of losing Tai Woffinden to a broken elbow, whilst Jack Holder is also ruled out once again.

Former Lions rider Troy Batchelor guests for the visitors, who will operate rider replacement at No.1.

Leicester are at full strength and they require a home win to keep on the tail of the top four as they head into the second half of the campaign,

Lions star Sam Masters said: “Sheffield will be tough, they gave us a bit of a flogging there earlier in the year and it is time to gain revenge.

“We will be going hard for that, we have to pull our socks up if we want to make the play-offs.

“We have a good team, we just haven’t put it all together or managed to click often enough this year.”

Sheffield No.5 Chris Holder said: “Leicester are a solid team and they need the points.

“We’re going to be missing at least one of our boys with Woffy out injured but if we can go there and put up a similar fight to what we did at Oxford, we’ll be happy enough.

“We go there with nothing to lose and everything to gain.”
