WORKINGTON host Glasgow at the GT Tyres Arena today, live on BSN, with both sides needing a win to further their Cab Direct Championship aspirations.

The Comets have four matches remaining and need to win all four, as well as taking all three aggregate points available, if they are to have a chance of edging out either Redcar or Edinburgh for a top four place in the final standings.

Meanwhile a victory in Cumbria will be enough for the Tigers to overhaul Poole at the top of the table and secure leadership ahead of the play-offs, prior to their final match at home to Edinburgh next Friday.

Workington name a full-strength side whilst Glasgow have Jason Edwards guesting for Villads Nagel who is on European Under-19 Championship duty, and there will also be a change at reserve after Max Perry was injured at Edinburgh on Friday.

The visitors bring a six-point advantage into the meeting for the aggregate point.

Comets boss James Denham said: “The boys have shown real fight these past few weeks, and we’ll need that same spirit again on Saturday.

“We’ve had a tough run of meetings, but the way the lads pulled together against Edinburgh at home shows that there has never been a lack of effort.

“Glasgow are pushing for top spot and they have a wealth of experience, with Chris Harris riding as well as ever, but we’ve proved here at Northside that we can dig deep, turn meetings around and get results when it matters.”

Tigers manager Cami Brown said: “We now go to Workington and we’ll give it everything as usual. We will be without Max. But the aim is for another away win.”

WORKINGTON: Troy Batchelor, Fraser Bowes, Tate Zischke, Jye Etheridge, Antti Vuolas, Jacob Hook, Vinnie Foord.

GLASGOW: Chris Harris, Jason Edwards, Dan Thompson, Leon Flint, Kyle Howarth, Freddy Hodder, TBC.
