BIRMINGHAM boss Sam Ermolenko wants “harmony” from his side ahead of a vital clash with Oxford, live on BSN.

The Brummies take on the Cheetahs at Perry Barr tonight (Monday) in the final ROWE Motor Oil Premiership fixture before a short break for the FIM Speedway of Nations.

Defeat at King’s Lynn last Thursday left the Brummies three points adrift at the foot of the table, whilst the Spires dropped a home point against Ipswich and are looking to consolidate fourth place in the table.

Their only away victory so far this season came at Perry Barr on Easter Monday when they took a 48-42 win.

Birmingham are without captain Steve Worrall due to illness, with Luke Becker coming in to guest.  Fredrik Lindgren returns at No.1, whilst Oxford are at full strength.

Brummies boss Sam Ermolenko said: “I have been concerned about things. We’ve had riders having good nights and bad nights and we now need one meeting where all the Birmingham riders have good nights; we need to make sure our riders are in harmony.

“We’re hoping for a good meeting on Monday, it’s our first of three straight home meetings for the team, and we want to turn things around.”

Oxford manager Peter Schroeck said: “I fully believe that we can win again. No disrespect to Birmingham, but as away fixtures go, this is a must win meeting.”

BIRMINGHAM: Fredrik Lindgren, Luke Becker, Justin Sedgmen, Wiktor Lampart, Tom Brennan, Piotr Pawlicki, Leon Flint.

OXFORD: Rohan Tungate, Drew Kemp, Maciej Janowski, Charles Wright, Chris Harris, Erik Riss, Ashton Boughen.
