BRITISH Speedway CEO Phil Morris admitted he was delighted with the perfect timing of the sport linking with international motorsport watches specialist OMOLOGATO.
The company, based in Windsor in the UK and Indianapolis in the USA, will become the official partner of the UK’s top-flight league.
As part of their arrangement with the Premiership, a Rider of the Night award will be presented at the conclusion of each Eurosport televised meeting, with the winner receiving an OMOLOGATO watch.
In addition, the top three riders in the British Final will receive a watch and all seven riders of the club who are crowned league champions will also receive a special prize.
Premiership boss Morris said: “We are delighted to launch this partnership with a company who are extensively involved in many forms of motorsport, and it’s great that they are keen to put their name to speedway.
“I have been very impressed with all aspects of their business, including their list of clients and partners elsewhere, and we look forward to a long and successful relationship.”
OMOLOGATO has already established itself as a prominent player in the motorsport world, including being official partners for the British Superbike (BSB) series and the GB3 and GB4 Championships. They have secured partnerships with renowned Formula 1 circuits Monza and Imola, as well as being team partners for current IndyCar Series champions Chip Ganassi Racing.
OMOLOGATO founder Shami Kalra added: “We are incredibly excited to partner with the British Speedway Premiership as the official timing partner.
“Speedway racing is a thrilling sport that demands precision and split-second timing, and we are proud to lend our expertise to support the league.
“At OMOLOGATO, we share the same passion for speed, performance, and innovation that drives the world of motorsports, and we look forward to contributing to the success of the British Speedway Premiership.”
