BSN are revving up for another thrill-a-lap season of red-hot action after unveiling the opening tranche of live streamed coverage.

Thirteen of the country’s 16 clubs will be featured in the opening five weeks of the new season.

Subscribers will have an early opportunity to see the new-look King’s Lynn squad in action when the cameras visit the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena to face Leicester on Thursday March 21.

It’s the first of 13 matches that will be covered by BSN Season Passes before the end of April – four in the Sports Insure Premiership and nine in the Cab Direct Championship’s BSN Series and Knock Out Cup.

The Stars have totally shuffled the pack during the winter and have kept only two of last year’s 13-rider squad: Danish ace Michael Palm Toft and Rising Star Anders Rowe.

Returning team boss Rob Lyon will be hoping to get a flying start to the new campaign against the Watling JCB Lions who have also had a winter shake-up.

Both clubs have become the new homes to a clutch of riders who were looking for team places after the enforced closure of Peterborough and Wolverhampton.

The Stars have snapped up ex-Panthers Niels-Kristian Iversen, Ben Basso, showstopping Russian Vadim Tarasenko and Poland’s Patryk Wojdylo to join new no. 1 Tobiasz Musielak.

And Leicester have brought in Wolves’ 2023 top three, skipper Sam Masters, Luke Becker and Ryan Douglas, to strengthen their line-up.

The Cab Direct Championship takes centre stage for the first time on Saturday, March 30, when the broadcast crew will be undertaking the long trek to the Southwest and Plymouth’s Coliseum raceway to cover the Prow Park Business Village Gladiators’ derby against last year’s beaten Grand Finalists and Knock Out Cup runners-up Poole in the BSN Series.

Poole will be anxious to make a flying start with their big winter signing, Great Britain Speedway of Nations gold medallist Tom Brennan spearheading their title challenge.

Plymouth will be hoping to have a new number one on board having been hit with a crushing injury blow after Italian Nico Covatti was ruled out for at least the first couple of months of the season after a horror crash while racing in Argentina during the winter.

One early highlight of the season-long coverage of 58 meetings will see the cameras visit Championship newcomers Workington on Saturday, April 6 when the Comets will track German racer Celina Liebmann, the first woman to be offered a full team place in a professional league in Britain.

She will line-up against Championship KO Cup holders Scunthorpe who have former ex-Great Britain international David Howe taking over as team manager.

With the Premiership boosted by the return of a clutch of world stars, armchair fans will have the opportunity to watch last season’s standings topper Emil Sayfutdinov when Ipswich Tru-7 Group Witches take on Oxford Spires.

Oxford make history by tracking a team in all three British divisions, the Premiership, Championship and National Development League this year.

The top-flight Spires’ big capture is long-time Grand Prix regular Maciej Janowski who was Poland’s World Cup hero last July when his last race win denied GB the gold medal.

Janowski hasn’t raced regularly in the UK since 2015 but will lead the Spires in their first appearance on BSN at Foxhall Heath on Thursday, April 18.
