KING’S LYNN have moved to silence “conspiracy theories” surrounding their injured No.1 Tobiasz Musielak.

The Pole suffered a broken collarbone and ankle ligament damage during the Stars’ win over Birmingham in early May.

His initial comeback meeting in Poland saw him unable to complete his rides, and whilst he did take five outings in Ostrow’s win over Lodz on Friday, scoring 8+2, he was in a great deal of pain and struggling to put weight on his ankle.

A statement from the Norfolk club on Tuesday revealed that, following discussions with the rider and his management and given the “technical nature of British tracks” Musielak will not race in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership until he is fully fit.

The Speedway Control Bureau has given King’s Lynn a 28-day facility starting with the Stars’ visit to Leicester, live on BSN, on Thursday night.

Musielak will not be allowed to return until the 28 days has expired.

A Lynn spokesman said: “Tobiasz will still be riding in Poland but it is clear that he needs to operate at a reduced schedule for the immediate future.

“We are aware of conspiracy theories which are surfacing and felt it was important to lay out the facts. We hope Tobiasz is able to regain full fitness so we can see him back in the team in early July.

“Tobiasz wants to return to the UK, we want him to return to the team, and this solution protects the club in that we can source guests of an appropriate standard and it protects the rider who will receive the time he needs to heal.”

British GP wildcard Tom Brennan will guest at Leicester on Thursday with Richard Lawson stepping in for the home match with Oxford on Monday.
