BELLE VUE CEO Mark Lemon has revealed that the Peter Craven Memorial will be another “breathtaking” event.

The ATPI Aces 2025 campaign will officially kick off on Monday, March 17 with the traditional season opener classic at the National Speedway Stadium.

Tickets have gone on sale today for the spectacular individual event which culminates with a six-rider, six-lap final.

The previous winners are like a who’s who of speedway greats including Ivan Mauger, Ole Olsen, Peter Collins, Chris Morton, Jason Crump, Greg Hancock and current World No.4 Dan Bewley.

Home captain Brady Kurtz is the defending champion but is sure to face a tough fight to hang onto his crown.

Lemon admitted: “The Peter Craven Memorial has become such a special occasion.

“The five-rider semi-final and six-rider final make it really breathtaking as a fan.

“To see six of the top riders in the world battling it out at the National Speedway Stadium is always breathtaking.”

Over the past few seasons Grand Prix stars have been the star attractions including Tai Woffinden, Freddie Lindgren, Robert Lambert and Bewley.

Lemon added: “It will be a strong field again, that’s all I’m saying at this moment.

“Obviously the Belle Vue boys will be in the field. But there will be some great additions. It will be spectacular under lights with fireworks. We expect fireworks on and off the track.

“It’s great to get the tickets on sale. It feels like the season officially starts now with a month to go.”
