JORDAN Jenkins has suffered Medial Collateral Ligament damage - and is now anxiously waiting to see how long he’ll be out for.
The 23-year-old, who races for Ipswich in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership and Oxford in the Cab Direct Championship, has had a rough run in recent weeks, suffering several knocks.
But after another tough night at Belle Vue on Monday, the Brit has now had his injury confirmed.
Writing on his Facebook racing page, Jenkins said: “Unfortunately, I’ve injured the MCL in my knee and I’m currently waiting to find out the full extent of the damage and what treatment will be needed.
“It’s been a tough season with more than a few knocks.
“I’m now focussing on getting fully fit, and coming back stronger, both mentally and physically.
“My goal is still clear: to return and ride at the level I know I’m capable of."
