JUSTIN SEDGMEN believes Edinburgh will have the “right balance” to challenge for the silverware again in 2026.

The gritty Australian has been confirmed to return to his spiritual home at Armadale for next season.

Sedgmen, 33, will have a sixth campaign in West Lothian is a previous league winner with the Monarchs in 2014 and 2015 and wants a return to the glory days.

He said: “I think the way the team was structured in 2025 was a step in the right direction, and from what I have been told of the team for next year I think we can do even better.

“Last season we probably only had two meetings where we all clicked together, and we were still unlucky to get knocked out in the semi in the last heat at Glasgow.

“That will spur us on even more and I think with the additions to the team we have the right balance to challenge.”
