JUNE is soon and there will be TEN mouthwatering meetings on your screens.
It all kicks off on June 5 with ROWE Motor Oil Premiership KO Cup semi-final, 2nd leg action.
It will either be Ipswich v King’s Lynn or Sheffield v Leicester, depending which of the two semi-finals is most delicately poised.
Just 24 hours later it’s a switch of leagues and a real humdinger clash between Cab Direct Championship big guns Glasgow and Poole at Ashfield.
The last three conventional league clashes between the sides at the home of the Allied Vehicles Tigers have ended up 45-45, 46-44 and 44-46. It should be another classic.
There’s a five-day break until the next broadcast at Poole, where the Pirates take on in-form Redcar Bears in Cab Direct Championship league action at Wimborne Rd on Wednesday, June 11.
The following evening it's back to ROWE Motor Oil Premiership action at the BetGoodwin Oxford Stadium when Oxford Spires and King's Lynn Stars battle for vital league points. This stream replaces the King's Lynn V Ipswich KO Cup semi-final which was originally set to be broadcast on June 2.
After the Manchester Speedway GP weekend, we visit Birmingham as they take on defending Premiership champions Belle Vue on Monday, June 16.
The ATPI Aces will be hoping to keep pushing in the top four at Perry Barr.
Then it’s a trip for the BSN crew to Oxford on June 18 as they take on Edinburgh in the Championship. The Cheetahs have made a fabulous start to the season, including a win at Poole, and will fancy their chances against the toiling Monarchs.
One night later it’s a repeat of last year’s Premiership Grand Final with Leicester facing Belle Vue. The Lions pipped the Aces in a cracking last heat decider in their previous meeting in the East Midlands.
Then it’s a double bubble Bandits on screens. On the longest day of June 21, it’s Berwick against Redcar in a repeat of their KO Cup clash, which the strong Bears won comfortably over the 2 legs.
A week later it’s back to Shielfield Park for another close encounter with the Bandits taking on Workington.
Then the month is rounded off on June 30 by another blockbuster with Belle Vue’s clash with Ipswich at the National Speedway Stadium.
The Witches smashed the ATPI Aces in the KO Cup encounter. This time the Manchester club will be looking for revenge big time.
