JORDY LOFTUS admits he is “hungry” for success after signing for Edinburgh for 2026.
The Monarchs have snapped up the Australian youngster after he made such a successful debut stint at Armadale last season.
Loftus, 16, showed great progress and joins Dan Thompson as the second Edinburgh named for the next Cab Direct Championship campaign.
He said: “I am very excited for the 2026 season.
“It has always been my goal to race professionally so when the opportunity came about last season I jumped at it.
“This year was a steep learning curve, but I feel happy with what I achieved, so going into next season I feel prepared to hit the ground running.
“I am hungry for more, so my goal is to come back stronger and faster so I can take it to the next level in 2026.
“Adjusting to the higher level of competition and racing against such skilled riders pushed me to improve every match.
“I learned a lot about team race strategy, bike setup, mental preparation and of course the different tracks and conditions.
“I was really proud of how far I developed by the end of the season, but I have been reflecting, watching my races and I've already set myself goals for 2026. Starts are everything so I really want to improve these and add to my point scoring.”
