TEAM manager Cami Brown described Glasgow’s 57-33 defeat at Poole on Wednesday as ‘embarrassing’.

Live on BSN, the Allied Vehicles Tigers got off to a slow start and found themselves 18-6 down after just four heats before Chris Harris delivered their first race win of the night in the fifth.

That was just one of three heat successes for the Scottish visitors though on a night to forget at Wimborne Road.

“It’s a difficult place to come,” Brown said.

“But if you start like we did, your backs are against the wall.

“Poole were hammering us out of the gates; the boys were making all the changes they could to claw some of it back.

“As always it was very difficult at Poole; to be honest it’s gate and go here, it’s not what we are used to at Glasgow.

“We were too soft off the start in the first few races.

“We needed to improve, it was embarrassing.”

Glasgow will look to respond when they host Oxford on Friday (July 4, 7.30pm) night - another Cab Direct Championship fixture live on BSN.
