BIRMINGHAM have pulled off a signing double because of the old pals’ act!
Polish star Piotr Pawlicki, 29, and best mate Vaclav Milik, 30, have both agreed to join the topflight newcomers.
The capture of two former Grand Prix regulars completes the new-look Brummies’ line-up ahead of the new season which starts in less than eight weeks’ time.
Pawlicki hasn’t raced in the Premiership since he was at Wolverhampton in 2014, and Czech Republic skipper Milik, who has ridden for both Poole and King’s Lynn, is ending an eight year absence.
Brummies’ owner Nigel Tolley said: “They’re close personal friends who enjoy riding together and they’ll also be travelling together and that was key in them both agreeing to sign for us.
“They both still have a lot to give and they could push towards gaining a place in the GP series again by racing in Britain once again.”
