WOLVERHAMPTON hot prospect Leon Flint is determined to “prove” himself in the Premiership.

The young Great Britain star could be a key figure in the crunch Premiership fixture against Sheffield at Monmore Green tonight, live on BSN.

Flint has shown he can be a trump card at reserve but is determined to be more consistent.

He said: “I’m not too happy the way I’ve gone to be honest. It could be a lot worse and it could be a lot better.

“Hopefully these next couple of weeks I can prove what I can do.

“It will be tough against Sheffield but we’ve got a good side. I just want to do my bit and we keep the wins coming, that’s all that matters to me.”

Wolves are unbeaten at home but the Tigers were the last team to win at Monmore in last season’s play-offs.

Scott Nicholls again steps in for the injured Luke Becker for the hosts, whilst Sheffield have ex-Wolves man Nick Morris guesting at No.1 with Jack Holder racing in Poland.

Wolves star Rory Schlein said: “Sheffield have got a solid look about them but we also know what we’re capable of, especially at home, so hopefully we can get off to a good start and build from there.”

Tigers reserve Lewis Kerr said: “We’re all just full of confidence, we’re all having fun and I think it’s showing on track,” he said.

“We’ve been brilliant and we just want to keep building on the good start we’ve had.”

WOLVERHAMPTON: Sam Masters, Steve Worrall, Rory Schlein, Ryan Douglas, Scott Nicholls, Zach Cook, Leon Flint.

SHEFFIELD: Nick Morris, David Bellego, Adam Ellis, Kyle Howarth, Tobiasz Musielak, Lewis Kerr, Dan Gilkes.
