BERWICK boss Stewart Dickson is looking for “instant revenge” against Scunthorpe, live on BSN tonight.
The Jewson Bandits face the Scorpions in their next two outings fresh after being dumped out of the Cab Direct Championship by the same side.
After yet another horror night of injuries at Poole, Dickson has brought in Craig Cook and Connor Coles to replace the injured Lewis Kerr and Bastian Borke.
He said: “I guess you couldn’t really script it that we face Scunthorpe yet again.
“On the other hand, it’s a very quick way of getting instant revenge for going out of the KO Cup in the manner that we did.
“The best way of getting that result out of our system is to deliver a really strong home win.
“We are up in the top two places in the Championship and we obviously want to stay there. But the next three weeks will really show what we are made of.
“After facing Scunny at Shielfield Park we then have three vital away meetings at Scunthorpe, Plymouth and Glasgow in the space of a fortnight.
“We want to pick up at least one big result on the road or at least pick up the aggregate bonus points.
“The will be our plan all season. A large part of that will depend on getting big wins at home. That’s what this team was built for.”
