BERWICK boss Stewart Dickson is “confident” his new-look side will come good.

The R.E.D Campers Bandits face Edinburgh in the BSN Series at Shielfield Park, live on BSN tonight.

They were beaten at home by Glasgow last week, but boss Stewart Dickson believes qualification for the semi-finals is still possible.

They face a much-changed Edinburgh team who bring in Luke Harrison, Jason Edwards and Jye Etheridge to replace Jonatan Grahn, Paco Castagna and Victor Palovaara due to international call-ups, whilst Stene Pijper comes in for Max James at reserve.

Dickson said: “Nobody, especially me, likes losing but I saw enough against Glasgow to feel confident that with a meeting under our belts we are the side many tipped pre-season to do very well.

“We have a chance to put last week right against Edinburgh. I’m not too concerned about who is in their side of the pits but more about my seven riders all doing their job on the night.

“This section of the BSN is nowhere near over; all three teams have everything to ride for over the next couple of weeks.”
