WORKINGTON boss Andrew Bain believes Jonas Jeppesen can be the “best spearhead in the league” after joining the club.
The Comets snapped up the flying Dane after he impressed, scoring a maximum at the GT Tyres Arena last season.
Jeppesen, 27, was a terrific scorer in the Cab Direct Championship for Berwick in 2025 and Bain is clearly delighted to get his new No1.
Jeppesen joins on a 8.20 average and Bain said: “When Jonas made his debut at the GT Tyres Arena with Berwick in September where he went through the card and was fantastic to watch. We studied his away scores as well and saw they were equally impressive, so we knew we had to snap him up.”
“We’ve been speaking with Jonas for a while. He was very complimentary about his experience at Northside, and the deal came together quickly for both parties.”
