THE Championship is set to launch its newest competition, the BSN Series, on Wednesday 5th April. The Oxford Cheetahs will host the series opener against 2022 League and KO Cup winners Poole Pirates at Oxford Stadium.

The BSN series sees the Championship split into regional 3 groups; Scottish, Northern and Southern, with the top 4 qualifiers from these advancing to the semi-finals. The last 2 teams standing will then battle it out to become champions in a 2-legged final, which is expected to take place in June.

The 3 regional groups are made up as follows:

  • Scottish - Glasgow, Edinburgh & Berwick
  • Northern - Redcar, Scunthorpe & Birmingham
  • Southern -Oxford, Plymouth & Poole.

BSN’s Ben Duffill commented, “We’re extremely excited and honoured to acquire the naming rights to the league’s newest tournament and would like to thank the Championship for the opportunity. We are currently working hard on branding the BSN Series and look forward giving the competition wide exposure to our growing fanbase, which spans across the entire globe.”

The BSN series will feature heavily as a part of BSN’s Championship schedule for the upcoming season, including live coverage of each of the 4 semi-final legs, and both legs of the final. BSN’s coverage of the BSN Series will be included as part of its Championship Season Pass.
