BIRMINGHAM boss Nigel Tolley believes they can get “good value” out of new signing Antti Vuolas.

The Brummies have swooped for the flying Finn to complete their side for 2025.

Vuolas made his ROWE Motor Oil Premiership debut with Belle Vue last summer when team-mate Tate Zischke was injured, and he helped the Aces to the league title including a vital performance in the second leg of their play-off semi-final at Sheffield.

Brummies CEO Nigel Tolley said: “Antti is a rider we’ve actually been keeping tabs on for the past couple of years now.

“He caught our eye and he is someone we’ve looked at giving an opportunity previously.

“He won his first ever race at Perry Barr when he came with Belle Vue in July and he seemed to enjoy riding our track.

“So all of that mixed with the fact that he’s again riding for Workington in the Championship, I think we’re going to get some real value out of Antti in 2025 and I think it’s a fabulous way to complete our signings.”

Vuolas becomes Birmingham's final signing and completes a strong looking septet with Tobiasz Musielak, Michael Jepsen Jensen, Matej Zagar, Keynan Rew, Jonas Jeppesen and Jason Edwards lining up alongside him.
