BIRMINGHAM CEO Nigel Tolley admits it’s a “huge relief” they are able to run in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership in 2025.
The Brummies have declared their intention to run next season after previously revealing financial difficulties.
They had suffered a tough re-introduction to top-flight racing this year, although they did finish on a high with wins in their last two matches, and there has been uncertainty over the future of their Perry Barr venue.
But they have now been able to declare an intention to race, and CEO Nigel Tolley said: “It goes without saying that it’s a massive relief.
“The situation has been changing day-by-day but with some hard work behind the scenes and the generosity of people out there, we found ourselves in the position we needed to be at this stage.
“Team building for 2025 is underway and I will do everything I can to build a team the supporters can really relate to and get behind, because I think that’s something they missed out on a little bit this year.
“We’re certainly not just hanging in there to make up the numbers, and our aim is to be a much more competitive force in next year’s Premiership.”
