BRADY KURTZ was crowned Australian Champion for the second time after another strong display.

The Belle Vue captain finished runner-up in the final round of the three-leg series in Albury earlier today. 

Outgoing champ Rohan Tungate won the meeting, beating the new title holder in the final. 

Chris Holder finished third on the night with Ben Cook fourth and Jack Holder fifth. 

Max Fricke, having crashed in Mildura in the previous meeting, pulled out of the Albury round. 

New Grand Prix star Kurtz ended the three rounds with 53 points ahead of Jack Holder on 52 and Chris Holder 38 as they took the podium spots.

Birmingham’s winter signing Keynan Rew finished fourth overall on 37, Tungate 35, Ben Cook 27, Zach Cook 26, Josh Pickering 25, Jaimon Lidsey 23, James Pearson 16, Max Fricke 12, Mitchell McDiarmid 11, Sam Masters 10, Harry Ryan 10, Michael West 10, Mitchell Cluff 7, Patrick Hamilton 5, Dayle Wood 1, Alex Adamson 0, Harry Sadler 0, Ashley Jansen-Batch 0, Isiah Hartley 0.

The fourth round in Brisbane was cancelled.
