CHRIS Harris reckons the “whole package” led to his sensational paid 18 maximum debut for King’s Lynn.

The three-times British Champion romped to a sensational points haul as his new club smashed Oxford by 16 points on Monday night.

Bomber believes his gating could have been better, but it hardly mattered as he pulled off numerous dashes from the back to thrill the crowd at the Adrian Flux Arena.

He said: “Points wise it was pretty good! I made some good moves from the back, it would be nice to make some gates to make it a bit easier for myself, but racing wise it was great.

“Fair play to the Oxford riders, they were giving us room, and it was a good meeting for myself.

“I’m sure it was entertaining although it doesn’t always go as smoothly as tonight, but if I can have a season like that I’ll be happy!

“It was about the whole package. I felt good on the bike, the bike was working well, and the track allowed me to produce some good racing because it gave some racing lines. It’s all clicked well.”
