BELLE VUE boss Mark Lemon admits he is “relieved” that No.1 Dan Bewley is fit to face Ipswich.
The Cumbrian sat out the closing stages of the narrow defeat at Wolverhampton on Monday after a heavy Heat 11 crash, but having raced in Sweden on Tuesday, Bewley lines up as normal for the Aces.
The two sides meet twice in five days as tonight’s Foxhall clash - live on BSN - is followed up by the return in Manchester on Monday.
ATPI Aces boss Mark Lemon said: “We’re getting down to the business end of our campaign and with the effort the boys have put in these past few months, we have at least one foot in the play offs at this point.
“After Dan’s crash on Monday, we’re relieved to say he’s fit and ready for this fixture and we’ll need all the boys to be on point because this won’t be an easy night.
“We have seven meetings left to race and we fully intend to make the most of each one, and Ipswich is a place we have a proven track record for success.”
The Witches, after losing at Sheffield on Monday, are desperate for a home win to keep their Play-Off push alive.
Boss Ritchie Hawkins said: “We are looking to win the meeting and we need to. Yes, it is a tough test, but we need to show our fighting spirit to bounce back from Monday.
“We need to go into every meeting now desperate for every point. The first priority is to win the meeting, but we need to put ourselves in a good position going to Belle Vue to try and gain the aggregate point.”
