BRITISH Speedway Network launched the 2023 Cab Direct Championship season with their official media day at Redcar Speedway last weekend.
With Cab Direct now having the naming rights for second tier it shows there is clear investment in the league which will benefit everyone.
Each of the nine clubs were represented by their captain and at least one other rider at the Ecco Arena.
The BSN team of Jason Harrold, Ian Brannan, Hayley Bromley, Paul Bowen and Greg Blair were on hand around the stadium conducting various interviews for our coverage this year.
While BSN’s official media partner Holeshot Media were represented by Phil and Taylor Lanning - who conducted the official photoshoot with images and videos being released in due course.
Inclement weather in the north east meant that the riders in attendance were unable to take advantage of the planned practice session on the day.
Joint BSN Director Ben Duffill commented, "We would like to offer special thanks to all 19 riders and the promoters who travelled to Redcar in unfavourable conditions. Every one of them made the effort to attend despite us losing the track to poor weather the day before. The day was a huge success and we can't wait to get started with our 2023 coverage!"
BSN's Cab Direct Championship coverage starts on April 1 at Berwick's Shielfield Park, when the Bandits take on the Redcar Bears in KO Cup action.
